Hindustani Influences

My influences of Hindustani Music come from the following masters:

• Buddhadev Dasgupta (sarod): Panditji is without a doubt why I fell in love with Hindustani music. I listened to his Bageshri, Darbari Kanada, Gaud Malhar Jhinjhoti,

• Vasant Rai (sarod): Despite his short life, the few recordings that are available from Vasant Rai are gems which I have listened to hunderds of times and counting. His rendition of Darbari Kanada recorded live in Washington is probably the one that hits me the  deepest.
